Entebbe Club will this Saturday, 17th October 2020 host the Singles Match Play golf tournament at its par-71 course in Entebbe.
Save last weekend’s social, this weekend event will serve as the first time golfers tee-off in Entebbe ever since March during the Singleton Match Play Challenge event.
According to one of the event organizers Dickson Lagoro, by press time, a huge field of golfers have already registered for the show piece.
“About 140 players have so far registered for the event. We are ready to host the event and eager to get back on course,” Lagoro said.
Lagoro also highlighted that the event will be held in observance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that are already set in place to help curb the contraction and spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
The club is also working on an activity calendar for the remaining part of the year which they will release soon. The lockdown disrupted original calendar and now the club is compiling the event that it will run till December 31st 2020.
