John Serunjogi has expressed readiness to knockout veteran Juma Waiswa in the forthcoming Super Middleweight bout due this Friday at Lugogo Arena.
The two will battle for the East and Central Africa Boxing Union title on the ‘Crush of the generals’ fight night organised by Nara promotions limited.
“I have been training for this fight and I am very ready to take on Juma. It is not an easy fight but I can assure my fans of victory on the fight night because I want to win this belt again,” said Serunjogi, who warned veteran boxers like Bana Bana Haruna, Kabona Meddie and Badru Lusambya that he will be forcing them into retirement.
Serunjogi who hold double training sessions daily has nine fights to his name, winning eight and losing only once.
On the same fight, UPDF’s Abdru Ssebute takes on Tanzania’s Swedi Muhamed in the Super Flyweight (52.2Kg) East and Central Africa Union title bout which will be the main bout of the night.
The weigh-in is set tof rthis Thursday after the arrival of foreign fighters.
