Vipers SC President Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa is buoyant that his charges can get the required result away in Tunisia against CS Sfaxien this Sunday at the Tareb Mhiri stadium. The two sides meet for CAF Confederations Cup first leg, return leg after playing to a barren stalemate a week back. The Uganda representatives need a scoring stalemate or victory to progress to the group stage for the first time in their history. Mulindwa urged the team before leaving for the North African country to replicate the first leg performance at Kitende. “During the first leg, you displayed a beautiful brand of football which had all the ingredients but goals. It was entertaining, offensive and had everything you could expect from a good team,” Mulindwa noted. Head coach Michael Ouma that their opponents have the home advantage but his charges are buoyant and ready. “We shall seize the moment to leave an indelible mark in the club history,” noted the Kenyan tactician, who named a 17-man squad on Thursday for the trip. Ouma included teenage striker Steven Mukwala and goal keeper Fabien Mutombola for the first time in continental squad. Team captain, Tadeo Lwanga promised a good show in Tunisia from his teammates.
